Rolfe I. ("Rik") Kopelan
Managing Partner
Rolfe I. Kopelan is the founding partner of The Capstone Partnership. Previously, he was the Global Head of Financial Services for one of the major global executive search firms, and prior to that, President of Human Resource Management, a recruiting firm with offices throughout the United States. For the last 20 years, Mr. Kopelan's search practice has focused on Investment Banking working with independent Investment Banks, bulge bracket firms, and universal banks. He draws on more than 40 years of search experience to help his clients strengthen their organizations, upgrade existing operations, and enter new businesses. He is known for his ability to attract seasoned professional and executive level talent in highly competitive markets.

Maurice B. Toueg
Partner
Maurice leads the Corporate practice at Capstone. In his 10 years with the firm, Maurice has completed numerous assignments for Fortune 100 clients in corporate strategy, corporate development, business development, investment banking, and corporate planning. Prior to joining Capstone, he was an Associate in investment banking with Geneva Corporate Finance, a subsidiary of JP Morgan Chase. His responsibilities at Geneva included valuations as well as Mergers & Acquisitions advisory services for smaller private companies. Maurice graduated from Columbia University with a B.A. in Economics.

Jill Feldman
Partner
Jill has completed assignments for major financial services organizations in the areas of investment banking, equity research and private equity. In her 15 years as a search consultant she has developed a reputation for developing and maintaining strong client and candidate relationships. Prior to joining Capstone, Jill was a Managing Director at another Executive Search firm where she focused on assignments in investment banking. Jill was drafted into the field of Executive Search after a successful career in the Retail Industry here she held management positions at The Gap and Jordan Marsh.

Helene Ashenberg
Partner
Helene leads Capstone's Legal Search Practice which conducts a broad array of search assignments for its clients, from traditional corporate legal positions to managerial and executive positions in industrial, services and financial organizations. Previously, she led for nearly 15 years the Legal Search Practice of a national executive search firm. She brings an analytical and comprehensive approach to every search and has been influential in furthering the drive for greater diversity in the workplace. Helene graduated from the University of Michigan Law School and has an undergraduate degree from Harvard. She had been associated with two major New York law firms prior to launching her legal search career. Helene has been a member of the National Association of Legal Search Consultants since 1994, currently sits on the Association's Board of Directors as Vice President, Long Range Planning and is Chair of its Ethics Committee.

Ira Ellman
Managing Director
Ira leads the Human Resources and Information Technology practices at Capstone. He has 10 years experience as a search professional and more than 15 years experience in Corporate Human Resources. Ira has held leadership positions in Talent Acquisition at JPMorgan Chase, Bear Stearns and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has been instrumental in designing and transforming recruiting organizations and strategies and is a recognized leader in the field. Ira began his career as an information technology professional working at General Electric. He graduated from Columbia University with a B.S. in Operations Research.

Thomas L. Labadie
Director
Thomas received his MBA with Honors from Columbia Business School and graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Bucknell University. At Capstone, he focuses on searches in investment banking, corporate strategy and human resources. Before entering the executive search field, Thomas was a Vice President in Bear Stearns' Investment Banking Global Telecommunications, Media and Technology group where he was instrumental in the development and execution of more than 20 Mergers & Acquisitions and financing transactions. He was then promoted to Managing Director, specializing in talent acquisition and development, in the Human Resources department. Thomas held a leadership role with JPMorgan Chase's career transition services group prior to joining Capstone.

Lorri Elder
Vice President
Lorri holds a BA and an MBA from Stanford University, and a Masters in Public Policy from the London School of Economics. Lorri's search assignments at Capstone focus on corporate strategy, business development and investment banking. Before joining Capstone, Lorri was Director of Individual Giving at Teach For America, where she cultivated major donors in New York City and was key in managing the exponential growth of the organization's fundraising base. Prior to business school, Lorri served as a senior foreign policy aide in the US Congress, advising a member of the House International Relations Committee on Middle East and South Asian issues.

Carey Albertine
Vice President
Carey holds an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth and a B.A. from the University of Virginia. Since joining Capstone, she has focused on assignments in corporate strategy, business development, and investment banking. Carey brings over ten years of experience in sales, marketing, and general management roles to Capstone. She was recruited out of business school into the Leadership Development Program at Dun & Bradstreet where she developed and executed strategies to increase customer retention of small business customers. Prior to business school, Carey worked at the K-12 division of Kaplan, Inc. where she managed the P&L of six retail centers. Carey began her career at NBC where she worked for NBC News, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, and Saturday Night Live.

Suzanne Manning
Vice President
Suzanne Manning supports Capstone's legal search practice and has conducted searches for General Counsels and other "in house counsel" positions on behalf of public and private companies and financial institutions. Prior to becoming a legal search consultant, she was the Recruiting & Training Manager for the New York District of a Fortune 500 Company. Upon graduation from law school, Suzanne practiced as a trial attorney and brings a deep understanding of the challenges of lawyering and the qualities that make attorneys successful to bear on every search she conducts.
